The Campus is really big and located outside the city.It's one of the top Central Universities in the country. Separate department blocks are available for various departments. The campus is very greenery and pleasant looking. There are buses available to take you to distant places inside the campus.

Based on my experience, I'd advise against pursuing an MBA through distance education. The lack of direct interaction and support can be challenging, especially when you have doubts or questions. Additionally, some programs may have limited responsiveness from staff, and communication can be unhelpful or even rude, particularly over phone calls.

Pondicherry University, also known as PU, is a collegiate public central university located in Kalapet, Pondicherry, Union Territory of Puducherry, India. It was established by an Act of Parliament in 1985 by the Department of Higher Education, Ministry of Education, Government of India. The Vice President of India is the Chancellor along with the Lieutenant Governor of Puducherry acting as the Chief Rector and the President of India is the Visitor of the University. The university is a collegiate university with its jurisdiction spread over the Union Territory of Puducherry located in Tamil Nadu (Pondicherry and Karaikal), Kerala (Mahé) and Andhra Pradesh (Yanam), and Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The vast jurisdiction over three Union Territories namely gives the University a national character. The residents speak diverse languages such as English, Tamil, French, Telugu, Malayalam, Hindi, Bengali, Oriya and Kannada.

There are significant administrative challenges within Pondicherry University concerning examinations and the declaration of results. Specifically, a problematic policy appears to exist for affiliated colleges wherein students who apply for revaluation prior to the release of the initial results are compelled to appear for arrear examinations. Furthermore, the scheduling of some examinations has been subject to delays, reportedly due to either the unavailability or the mismatch of question papers.
