Crumbling buildings, unclean toilets. I did not study there, so I cannot comment about the staff, though it seemed to me that there were a handful of brilliant professors and hordes of dull staff. They give importance to sports and they also have a Scrabble club. That is lovely to hear though.

My daughter studied in QMC during 2020-2023 batches. Then she has completed her Master’s degree also . Still she is waiting for her original bachelor’s degree certificate. She wish to pursue her education abroad . Because the college is not issuing the certificate she is not able to apply for her higher education. We tried asking to the authorities but they are not at all considering the students needs seriously . They are asking us to wait until they do convocation. We don’t know when will be the next convocation may be after 5 years ….. My child’s future is in dilemma. As a parent I am disappointed for sending my daughter to this institution.

I recently visited qmc for an inter college contest and my experience was insane. Such a worst maintenance and management. No coordination within the volunteering students and faculty members and irresponsive too. No hygiene inside the campus. Please do take an initiative and change the atmosphere of the college.

One of the erstwhile colleges that have been established by the British government or the Raj, in India. The college it self is affiliated to the university of madras and has numerous departments to cater to all the needs of the students, it leaves behind a very long legacy that is entwined with the history of the city and has produced a number of distinguished alumni. Although currently the buildings are in a slightly dilapidated condition.
