Shri Ranbir Campus, Jammu functions as a vital campus of the Central Sanskrit University, New Delhi. Its origins trace back to the erstwhile Shri Raghunath Sanskrit Mahavidyalaya, which was taken over by the then Rashtriya Sanskrit Sansthan in 1971. Following the Sansthan's upgrade to a Central University, it was renamed Shri Ranbir Campus. The institution is dedicated to the promotion of Sanskrit language and traditional Indian knowledge systems, while also integrating modern subjects. It houses seven functioning departments covering core areas like Vyakarana, Jyotisha, Sahitya, Sarvadarshana, Shiksha Shastra, and Veda, alongside other units.
