Sri Siddeshwara Fair - VIJAYAPURANew Year's biggest historic Sri Siddeshwar fair is not only famous in Vijayapura but also in North Karnataka. Along with Siddeshwar temple which is shining with lights, the entire Siddeshwar road is full of Jatra Mahotsava. The people of the city are standing on tiptoe to celebrate the week-long fair. Rows of shops line both sides of the road connecting the Ashram from the Siddheshwar temple. Heads up, the city's nameplates welcoming the fair and greet the transition. The main streets are lined with temples as part of the fair. Cultural and devotional programs will be held at the temple front stage. A separate stage has been built and there are mass bhajans, music and comedy entertainment programs.
