For the past 100 years, this institution is providing Education to the Poorest of the Poor in and around Bengaluru city. SLN College was started by S.L.N. Charities in the year 1966, and is functioning as per the Statutory guidelines of the Government of Karnataka. Admissions are open to all poor students belonging to all communities. The College is supported by the grants from Government of Karnataka.The college with its vision “Empowering through Education” has converted the mediocre students in to 1st & 2nd class students by its commitment to make students competent, self-reliant and socially responsible citizens through effective education and also helped them to achieve their goals and purse higher education as per the wish of the Founder donor. The College has two degree programmes, Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Arts.Our college has been around since the beginning of RC College and the St. Joseph College of Commerce. It has gained the reputation of being the oldest college.
