Quality education , quality sports , and campus is veery well maintained. It's not easy to manage 13000 students , but with huge campus like this is smoothely done. It's a city within with all requirements.

It has a cos complex for shopping having all facilities of saloon, beauty parlour confectionary, stationary, food joints , daily items and what not. There is greenery all around and grafti walls for special attention. It also has canteen , cafe house , fruit stalls. Hostels and mess for everyone's stay stretched till alphabet L.The university is very well cleaned , maintained and secured.

The campus is clean and has many facilities..But the management is worst. One of their member in dean office, he don't know how to talk with the students and parents..Why these people behave like they have achieved something big. They behave like they are owner of the college and we students are studing here for free. Also, the guards/watchman, they are at different level. They have different rules for boys and girls. If you are coming on active or bike, you should be wearing helmet otherwise you're not allowed to enter, thats good. But why this rule is just for boys?If a girl is coming on active they don't stop her.Safety should be for both.I don't recommend this university and in recent years this university has lost his reputation. They are just money minded.Save your hard earned money and look for much better opportunities in 2025.20+ lakh investment is just waste here.

Worst College out there. Professors don't teach properly at all. They just come and read the slides. Even we as students can do that on our own. They portray themselves as the most intelligent teachers out there but they can't even teach properly. The security guards are extremely ill mannered too. They have misbehaved with me and many other students a lot of times. Once I was going to thapar and the security guards were blocking the entrance gate talking and standing in the middle during their duty hours. When I honked the horn they started abusing me and one guard even threatened to slap me. Also thapar leaves no opportunity to discriminate between boys and girls. Boys are required to wear a helmet inside the campus and are stopped at the gate and are told very rudely to wear helmets but girls never wear helmets and nobody says anything to them. It's not that instructing to wear a helmet is wrong but imposing it one one gender is very discriminatory. There are many such incidents which have happened with me and other students as well. Students choose to remain silent because they think that the college will fail them purposely if they raise their voice. I reported the misbehavior of the guards to the concerned authorities but no steps were taken. Save yourself from this college.

I think Thapar University is the most professional engineering university in India, how the system of societies running by the stydents is fabulous that build the overall personality of the student that would be needed by the companies. But yes it is expensive, 25 lakhs for 4 years of btech is a lot.But it is worth the money.
