Lush green scenery, campus is full of plants, trees - ecologically it is one of the best green campus. You will keep listening to hearing the soothing sounds of birds, parrots when you come out of the buildings, and even if you are lucky then you will see beautiful peacock pairs over here. Love to be a part of such a beautiful campus!!

1. Life at DU = Freedom + PressureYou get a lot of freedom—no strict dress codes, no micro-managing. You’ll meet all kinds of people, from super-intense bookworms to full-time fest-goers. But don’t let the casual vibe fool you. Academics hit hard, especially when you're trying to balance society work, fests, and intern hunting.2. Societies are the soulEvery college has its own cultural societies—debating, dramatics, dance, music, you name it. Getting into a good society can be as competitive as the college itself, but it's worth it. You make friends, build real-world skills, and if you're lucky, get a chance to travel for competitions (with free food!).3. North vs South Campus DramaNorth Campus has that classic college feel—hostels, chai stalls, and iconic hangout spots like Kamla Nagar and Hudson Lane. South Campus is a little more chill, less crowded, more green. But ask any DU student—North has the vibe, South has the peace.4. Professors: Hit or MissSome profs are gems—passionate, helpful, and inspiring. Others... just read off slides and vanish. It really depends on your college and department. But if you're proactive, there are always external resources and senior notes to survive.5. Internships and PlacementsTop colleges like SRCC, Hindu, Hansraj, and LSR have strong placement cells. If you’re in a lesser-known college, you'll have to hustle on your own. But DU’s name does carry weight, and being in Delhi opens up a lot of internship opportunities.6. Fests are next levelDU fests are no joke. You’ll see celebs, massive crowds, and some of the best performances. They can be chaotic, but they’re core to the DU experience.7. Admin and PoliticsThe ugly side? Bureaucracy and student politics. Be ready for random class cancellations, delayed results, and long queues. Some students get involved in politics too—it’s powerful but also intense.---Final Word: If you make the most of DU, it will shape you. It's not perfect—far from it—but it teaches you independence, resilience, and how to find your way in chaos. You won’t just remember what you studied here—you’ll remember who you became.

Scammer- Dont pay postal fee as they will post your documents whenever they will done with their lunch and tea break. Very lazy are careless staff. I have applied for fastrack transcript and provide all desired doc. & pay all fee. Still i have to personally visit that center to collect it as it was stuck in their dispatch department. My fastack fee postal fee were not even reimburse by them. Only guards are supportive here. Easy to reach, nearest metro is Durgabai deshmukh Metro station. 5-10 Walking distance from metro. There are sharing auto too @Rs. 20/- per person.

I studied hard. I prepared well. I missed the exam because I didn’t bring a magnifying glass to decode the timing.

South Campus is peaceful, clean and fresh with trees and flowers, birds and small animals. It's away from the main road, but not far, so it has minimal noise pollution and you can hear birds chirping all day long when the season is right. Loving it daily.
