XIM University, offers a great academic environment with quality education and a well-structured curriculum. The faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, ensuring students receive a strong learning experience. One of the highlights of the university is its good scope for sports, allowing students to engage in various athletic activities. However, there are some drawbacks. The hostel facilities for UG boys need significant improvement, as the living conditions are not up to the mark. Additionally, day boarders face a major inconvenience as they are required to leave campus by 5:15 PM, despite classes running until 4:30 PM. This leaves very little time for extracurricular activities, library use, or even proper relaxation after a long day of classes.Despite these issues, the university provides excellent academic and sports opportunities, making it a good choice for students. I would recommend XIM University for its education and sports culture, but improvements in hostel facilities and better flexibility for day boarders are needed.

From the PhD perspective, while some teachers are excellent, some Deans and the Vice Chancellor, management have no interest (as explicitly stated by some!) in students graduating. Consequently, they keep PhD students hanging on and do not respond to their papers/ thesis in anything that is considered reasonable in the PhD world. You will find PhD students dropping out of the university after waiting for more than 8 years; some are finally getting their PhDs after TEN YEARS! They have very little accountability to their students. If I had to do it again, I would get my PhD somewhere else. I would not recommend this university.

It is a beautiful University run by the Jesuits as an extension of the famous Xavier Institute of Management. They have a huge campus and really beautiful buildings. It is in the process of development with me departments and schools.
