This future campus aims to provide comprehensive infrastructure including administrative blocks, modern lecture halls, well-equipped laboratories, separate hostel facilities for boys and girls, dining amenities, a hospital, canteen, staff quarters, a farm office, storage godowns, polyhouse, greenhouse, and various field laboratories to support advanced learning and research initiatives. The primary academic offering is the four-year B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture program, designed to impart in-depth knowledge and practical skills relevant to the agricultural sector. The program has a sanctioned intake capacity of 75 students per year. Admission to the college is based on academic merit derived from qualifying examinations, in line with the selection process followed by Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. The curriculum emphasizes a balanced approach, combining theoretical classroom instruction with essential hands-on training and research exposure, particularly relevant to the coastal agro-climatic conditions. The institute is committed to making professional agricultural education accessible and affordable, especially for students from underprivileged backgrounds, and facilitating the effective transfer of agricultural technologies to the local farming community. The college aims to prepare students to confidently address real-world challenges in agriculture.
