Alliance University.Happened to visit the University for some official work. It is about 65 km away from the airport. The campus is close to the Tamil Nadu border.Very well-maintained campus with large number of trees, and well-kept lawns and gardens. The main office is an imposing structure. The library with over 100,000 books is also very well arranged. Saw a huge display of books written by faculty of the institution.Had a chance to visit the engineering department. The lobby looks more like the lobby of a five-star rated hotel. They have labs created in association with various organizations for game development and one in association with Apple for app development. They have an excellent restaurant on campus operated by the Sukh Sagar group. Another canteen for students, called the food court is also available. Food is quite good. Rates are also quite reasonable compared to rates in Bangalore.Met many members of the faculty team. They are extremely dynamic. Lot of developmental works, new campuses and new programmes are being planned after Dr. Priestly Shan has taken over as the new Vice Chancellor. The campus also provides electric buggies to take a visitor around. There is a well-appointed guest house near the main office.Uber cabs are easily available from the campus to travel to the city.

As students of Alliance University, we are deeply concerned about the recent decision to make the summer term mandatory. While we value academic growth, this move eliminates our only extended break—a crucial time for rest, internships, family, and personal development. Moreover, the additional financial pressure of staying on campus during the summer term—covering tuition, accommodation, and living expenses—is a significant burden for many students and their families. We sincerely hope the university administration will reconsider this policy and offer a more flexible, optional approach to better support student well-being and individual goals.

The 2017 India Education Awards' Best Private University honour went to Alliance University. Undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and professional certificate programs are available at the institution in four primary fields: engineering, management, law, and commerce.Bangalore is home to Alliance University (AU), a private university. The university, which offered MBA and Executive MBA programs, was an offshoot of Alliance Business School. It is among Bengaluru's largest educational campuses.

As a student of Alliance University, I feel deeply disappointed by the way certain academic and financial issues are handled. The recent introduction of the ₹3500 per subject summer term fee, without proper student consultation or transparency, has caused immense stress especially for those coming from middle-class families. What's even more upsetting is the lack of empathy and communication. When I approached my HOD to discuss my situation, the response was dismissive. There was no effort to understand the personal challenges I faced or offer any support just a cold, bureaucratic reply. Many of us are struggling not just academically but mentally, emotionally, and financially. Students deserve a supportive academic environment, not one that prioritizes fee collection over understanding and growth.I truly hope the university listens to its students more and works on building a transparent, compassionate, and student-friendly system. We don't ask for favors — only for fairness

I deposited the 50k addmission fees in Alliance university as the counselor told me if i were to cancel my addmission before May ending they would return 49k. Now i cancelled and requested a refund in April end but now they're saying that i will only get 24k back.Management is not helping and don't let us talk. She constantly talks over us and gets angry when we try to say something. I cannot imagine if the management is this bad now what it would be like if you actually started your studies there.I've seen alot of other reviews saying the management is not the best so please keep this in mind before paying this university a cent of your money.
