Dear readers,I visited this college for campus recruitment and I found the students very brilliant, active, passionate and through professional. I would rate my visit and experience in CVS as best and recommend companies to visit evey year. More about college is mentioned below. The College of Vocational Studies (CVS) is co-ed college of the University of Delhi. It is a co-educational college founded in 1972 with emphasis on vocational education to bridge the gap between traditional university education, through courses in French, German and Spanish languages, Post Graduate Diploma in Tourism and Post Graduate Diploma in Book Publishing. The college is situated in the heart of Delhi at Sheikh Sarai-II, next to Shaheed Bhagat Singh College. The nearest metro stations are Chirag Delhi and Malviya Nagar. It is at back of PSRI hospital and Select Citywalk.College has a very beautiful conference hall. Canteen, amphitheatre, Bamboo room, computer lab and rich library.

I never thought that college would reveal who really I am. I thought I was cool that I can do everything at once, but when I entered college, I found out that I was the opposite of how I see myself.Going back to my first day in the university, I felt something I could not even put into words. Seeing new faces, new surroundings made me feel like I’m in a very different place. It was my first time to see the people whom I’ll be with for the rest of my stay in the university and it made me nervous for an unknown reason. All of us need to adjust well so that we can survive and know each other well. Subjects for the first time like Philosophy, Management, and Law subjects were very hard to study since that it was the first time for me to encounter …show more content…Waking up, preparing to go to school, studying before class, being in class, going home, studying until before the sun rises, eating in between of those, sleep, then wake up again. Halfway of my stay in the university, my days became like that. People would think that it was easy having a day like that, but in reality, it was the opposite. I was thinking of giving up and try another course, but I still decided to continue.

Guys This is the worst college of du , I know some ppl won't agree with me but I have some reasons for saying so :Disadvantages taking admission in this clg:1.there is no furniture in many clg rooms like benches, blackboard, projecter.2.there is no stable wifi facilities3. the library is so small compared to the no.of students4.the BCR(BOYS COMMON ROOM) is not well maintained, sofas , benches are in very bad condition, and it's very uncomfortable there5. again the canteen is so small with some chairs and tables as compared to students in this clg6. whenever a fest is conducted there the chairs of library are used in the fest and students experience discomfort just coz of this7. the infrastructure is not good at all coz there is only 1 floor in this clg nd less classrooms as compared to the no.of students there8.Some rooms are like huts or cottage here9.there are barely some benches in ground10. there is no sports facilities as mentioned on their website11. the cultural area looks like it's never cleaned since it was built, with spider webs , dust , dirt and other things.12.one room wall is like it has been shot by an ak#713. no smoking campus is written everywhere but the cleaning staff and some students cigarettes in clg14. the students here play UNO (gambling) and no one takes strict action about it, they play even when in class rooms also.15. the washrooms are not cleaned and maintained at all , there is no handwash in the washrooms of this clg16. there's no auditorium in this clg17.there's no indoor stadium as mentioned in the website18. like I had hindi as a subject but there was no class taken by some professor, even the sem 1st exam ended without class19.there no laptop facilities in this clg as every du clg provide students with laptop for their studies20.there is no e library in this clg21. We had no fresher's party and the orientation was so unorganised and unstructured.
