One of my friend studied here. I’m writing this on behalf of her.“Those 2 years were the worst of my education life. The hostel was very bad(not in the hygiene side) regarding the mess food. Most of us had constant food poisoning during these years. They also made us pay unnecessary amounts of money saying this and that which was not listed on the fee structure and didn’t even get 1 single receipts for the payments we made(only got the receipt for admission time fee and some other 2 3 things)They illegally asked us to pay 2nd year tuition fee of 20k which was not there according to the joining time fee structure. We asked for the reason and receipt for what this fee amount is and didn’t get a solid reply, instead told us that if we didn’t pay it would affect us only.We were afraid to take complaints to the mg university or education court as they would play with our internal marks attendances and placements. We had to endure body shaming, constant abuse over minute things by staff, warden and everyone else. They didn’t respect our religious beliefs and made us pray along with them in church and all.It was inshort 2 years of mental torture there so please if anyone is seeing this please dont take admission for yourself or your daughters there…there are way better colleges in kerala with better fee than them and I’m sure way way better life than this college.Mount carmel kottayam is the worst! “
