Genuinely positive experience. The faculty are knowledgeable and supportive, always ready to assist with challenges. The campus is equipped with excellent labs and resources that make learning engaging. Additionally, the placement cell is proactive in connecting students with job opportunities. Overall, MVJ provides a great environment for both academic and professional growth.

The college was good during the time I studied in. Staffs were good and helpful. Simple thing is that you can't compare a private college with NITs or IITs. This place is good for completing your degrees in your respective fields, but for the placement you will have to fight for it. Only by attending classes and by following local author books it will be very much difficult for you to clear GATE. But this is the story of mostly all the private colleges in India (Exceptions are always there). You will have to gain practical knowledge of present technology on your own interest. Labs are well equipped. Overall for a degree it's a good choice. But for job you need to be prepared with your aptitude skills. One thing I can suggest that only marks are not enough for present situation. Every year crores of unemployed graduates are coming out in India. You can't blame the college for this. Get in touch with people with good knowledge of present world and please stop being a book worm. The office staffs are very good and helpful. Even after 2 years of my completion of BE, they treated me very well and issued a certificate within minutes which is required for joining in Railways. Whoever reading this, please don't go on any reviews, good or bad. Become a capable individual, India needs. THANKS TO THE COLLEGE, because of this only I am able to apply anywhere and everywhere and finally got selected in RAILWAYS. Missing my mechanical department ❤❤

MVJ founded by a good and honest person Dr. MV Jayraman who was committed to provide fine quality education with state of the art Infrastructure, no doubt he was the only one trying to do it. Current times (2025) the college is/will be a tier 3 college in a tier 1 city given the syllabus and pedagogy they are following. Whereas the Professors and Faculty are supportive and try doing better to all students, but with the present cut throat competition outside their vision of producing sharp and industry fitting youth is just a vision. You won't crack GATE with this syllabus, when it comes to placements you won't be able to get the golden standard companies (FAANG/MANAMANA), you do get service based companies (TCS, Cognizant, Delloite etc) for PPOs. Trust me you won't crack the assessments and interview if you blidinly follow the instructions given by the college. If you are a CSE/ISE student irrespective of any specialization you need to be strong in DSA, Basic CS concepts, Strong command on 2 languages at least which you will not be provided by the college, it is self work. When it comes to labs, the systems are well equipped but again too theoretical and nothing notably useful in the outside world. One thing which they did/will continue to do is make you realize "Remember your future is bright don't spoil it". If you ask my honest opinion then please study hard for KCET and make sure to join RVCE, MSRIT, or BMSCE top 3 engg colleges after NIT Suratkal. College is strict regarding ID card, dress code, blue pen black pen, records submission, report submission, pre defined labs. What you will get to see: rushing of syllabus, however engg maths is important and interesting and well taught, skipped classes, attendance goals and disciplinary stunts, unnecessary extra periods, imbalanced and inexperienced faculty, no proper timetable, space & time complexity in classroom itself no need to jump into DSA, outdated classroom teaching equipment. I was humbled enough to have joined the college but there are vast areas of improvements. Given no choice and least preference then please do join this college, no offense but it's just one those colleges you see in the corner of a random page in the newspaper thats it. Thank You for everything @MVJCE 🙏 Adiós!!
