Frequently Asked Questions

What scholarships are available at Christ University?

Christ University offers multiple scholarships. These include merit-based scholarships, financial assistance scholarships, scholarship for excellence in sports, curricular and extra curricular activities and alumni association scholarships.

Can BBA students at Christ get any scholarship?

Yes. BBA students are eligible for the Merit Scholarship (10% fee reduction on fees above ₹25,000 — saves ₹28,000/year at current ₹2.80 lakh BBA fee) and the Financial Assistance Scholarship (up to 50% concession for self-financing programs). Government NSP scholarships also apply if you are form relevant categories.

Does Christ University offer a full fee waiver?

A full 100% waiver is not standard. The Financial Assistance scholarship can go up to 90% for basic BA/BSc programs. For self-financing programs (BBA, B.Tech, MBA), the cap is 50%. Students typically receive 40%-70% tuition waivers through relevant scholarships.

When exactly should I apply for scholarships to avoid missing the deadline?

Apply for internal scholarships (Merit and Financial Assistance) immediately after receiving your admission offer — before paying any fees. Do not pay first and then apply. For NSP, the portal typically opens in August with deadlines around September/October. However, NSP deadlines are subject to changes.

What is the ₹4.50 crore scholarship budget?

Christ University enrolls approximately 35,000–40,000 students across all campuses and programs. The ₹4.50 crore scholarship budget is a separate amount set aside to offer financial assistance to eligible students.
