Government Ayurveda Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram stands as one of India's oldest and most prestigious institutions dedicated to the practice and promotion of Ayurveda. Located in the heart of Thiruvananthapuram city, the college campus spans 18 acres and houses aesthetically designed buildings and comprehensive facilities. It offers a wide array of programs including BAMS at the undergraduate level, MD/MS and PG Diploma courses at the postgraduate level, as well as PhD and certificate courses. Admission to the BAMS program is primarily based on NEET scores, while postgraduate admissions consider AIAPGET results. The college has a total student enrollment of 559 and a dedicated team of 69 teaching faculty members, distributed across 14 departments.
