I had the privilege of being associated with the Government College of Education, Sector 20-D, Chandigarh, and I must say it has been one of the most enriching and transformative experiences of my academic journey. It's okaish college to be honest. I have studied in better colleges (private). For government college It's batter than others.Good Things:1. Only BEd government college in chandigarh (no other option)2. Activities on a daily basis (old & traditional)3. Affordable fees and hostel (best thing)4. Rules are like good colleges.Things require improvement:1. The staff is outdated and obsolete. Using traditional methods of teaching from stone age. Have no idea how to use technology in teaching. They don't go the extra mile for students. Most are very bad in teaching. A 12th class student can teach better than a few professors.2. They are very rigid in their approach of doing things. They don't want to experiment and change.Conclusion:If you can't afford a private college in chandigarh. Go for it. It's in the city. You can enjoy the life of chandigarh. Come here for the degree. You can get a job in a fine school. But if you are targeting the best schools. Go for best college then.

This is one of the best college in North india.as my experiences here was splendid.All lecturar very helpful and cooperative. Lectures given by experts.vast play ground, spacious classrooms and modern auditorium.all over good.

GCE is indeed an institution which creates high class teachers & educationists, I'm proud to be a part of this college.
