What is NEET PG?
National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate (NEET-PG) is an all-India single-window entrance examination conducted for admission to MD, MS, PG Diploma, and MDS courses in government, private, deemed, and central universities across India. It is mandatory for Indian citizens and Overseas Citizens of India (OCI) who wish to pursue postgraduate medical courses in the country. NEET-PG is conducted by the National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) and replaced all individual state-level and institutional PG medical entrance exams from 2017 onwards. The exam serves as the sole criterion for admission to approximately 52,000+ MD/MS/PG Diploma seats and 27,000+ MDS seats.

NEET PG 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill all criteria set by NBEMS to appear for NEET PG 2026. Failure to meet any condition leads to disqualification at any stage.
- Nationality: Indian citizens, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and foreign nationals (with MCI/NMC approval) are eligible.
- Qualification: MBBS degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC, formerly MCI).
- Internship: Must complete 12-month mandatory rotatory internship on or before the cutoff date announced by NBEMS (usually 31st July or 15th August 2026).

The entire registration process for NEET PG 2026 is conducted online on the official website of NBEMS (natboard.edu.in). Candidates must complete registration, fill personal/academic details, upload documents, and pay fees in one go. No physical forms are accepted.

NEET PG Application Correction Window & Exam Centres
NBEMS provides two correction windows after form submission:
- First Edit Window: Usually 3–4 days after registration closes – allows correction in most fields except name, nationality, mobile, email, and test city.
- Final Edit Window: 3–4 days in April/May – only for selective fields (photo, signature, thumb impression) if flagged defective.
NEET PG 2026 will be conducted in more than 250 cities across India. Candidates can choose any three cities in order of preference during registration. Final centre allotment is done by NBEMS and cannot be changed later.
NEET PG 2026 Exam Pattern
NEET PG is a single-day, computer-based test consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions to be solved in 3 hours and 30 minutes. There is no sectional time limit. The question paper covers the entire MBBS curriculum as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations of NMC.

How to Download NEET PG 2026 Admit Card
Admit cards are released 5–7 days before the exam date only on the official NBEMS website. No physical admit cards are sent.

- Enter User ID and Password
- Download and print the admit card in colour
- Paste a passport-size photograph in the given space (same as uploaded in the application)

NEET PG 2026 Exam Day Instructions
Strict rules are enforced by NBEMS. Violation leads to disqualification.
- Report at least 2 hours before exam time
