Alagappa Government Arts College: Admission 2025, Courses, Fees, Ranking & Sivaganga Campus Life

Okay , So you people might be looking for a honest review about this college right ? ( During my initial days of finding colleges , I struggled to know about this college, So refelcting my thought after my graduation here)Let's break this review into parts :1st about the Departments :1.Most of the depts are okayish but not Good as other top colleges like Loyala,Stella maris etc..2.In terms of Coaching ad teaching i will give 8/103.In terms of politics in the dept, some depts are too bad (sorry for this much frankish) but this is true.4.Dept such as GEOLOGY,COMPUTER SCIENCE,BOTANY are comparabily very good in teaching.5.At last Departments play major role in your college life than the college itself ,hence take wise decision about it2nd about the atmosphere:1.Okay ,so to be frank the atmosphere for stuides is average, one thing has to remember .(Most of the students are from the rural and semi urban areas and are not that much exposured than the students in cities).2.College atmosphere in terms of nature and beauty - moderate (I wish they could have atleast covered the bare lands with lawn to look beautiful)3.In terms of students and friends ,of course it is the best part and it upon you.3rd about the opportunities:1.In terms of campus emploment , Don't expect too much2.opportunities are there but we have to find it by ourself3.NSS, NCC ,Redcross are there but that too mundane in state and are not effective in therir involvments(except NCC)4th sports:1.AGAC is known for its sports and sports performance .2.The campus have Volley ball court, basket ball, and handball play grounds.3.Cricket team ,volley ball team are known for their merits.(For more info better contact the college )5th Cultures and enjoyment:1.As most of you are eager on it , brace for the answer ,To be honest this college doesn't have any big events or cultural days for enjoyments2.There are some days like Fine arts day where you may see some cultural performances3.Dont expect too much guysSoo I think I have addressed some important things in this , but In my opinion i faced so many challenges and hindrances though they moulded me and made myself the best version of me.If you want to join this college i would definitely recommend you but at the same time make yourself informed about other colleges and just keep this words in your mind :IT IS NOT ABOUT THE PLACE OR COLLEGE THAT DECIDE YOUR FUTURE BUT YOU AND YOUR CHOICES !THANK YOU!

This college good and government college but SC students only 1st priority so this government college not for all middle class students

I studied B.A English here. Professors are very friendly and knowledgeable. Students Discipline is monitored strictly. Most of the students from this college bagged Gold medal 🏅 which shows the quality of education provided here. Year by year students' strength are increasing but the lack of infrastructure to accommodate large number of students becomes herculean task .
