“A HUB FOR TRANSFORMATIVE EDUCATION AND FUTURE-READY PROFESSIONALS” The state-of-the-art infrastructure, digital learning resources, industry tie-ups (including collaborations with companies like IBM), and a vibrant campus life make the learning experience truly holistic. The university also places strong emphasis on entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainability, offering ample platforms for students to showcase their talents and develop leadership qualities. Amrapali’s graduates are known not just for their academic achievements but also for their emotional intelligence, creativity, and global outlook — traits that are increasingly sought after in today’s competitive world. Whether you're a student looking for meaningful education or a parent seeking a safe and progressive academic environment for your child, Amrapali University is a name you can trust.
Sumit Pant
Hi everyone. My name is Sumit Pant. I am currently pursuing my MCA from Amrapali University (2024-26). I also completed my BCA (2021-2024) from the same college and at that time, the course was affiliated to Kumaun University. It's been almost 5 years since I am in this college and it feels like a second home. I had all my good and bad experiences at this college. Let me give a genuine review of the college. Education and faculty -: The curriculum is good but should be updated. We are still studying the old things. New technology and lab practices should be there which is currently not there in the college. Only theoretical knowledge is being given. Although the teachers are well qualified and they teach in a very good manner. A student can connect with the teacher and ask his/her doubt. This helps in his overall academic growth. Teachers gave their 100 percent in teaching and help students in every possible way. Teachers also help students from their personal side too. If you have any query and ask them for help, you'll definitely get your query solved. Thanks to the faculty of Amrapali University. Academic activities -: Since I have done BCA and currently pursuing MCA, back then in 2021, I expected that there will be coding competition, hackathons and other type of activities which will be good but I can say that in the whole college, FTCA (faculty of technology and computer application) department is at the bottom in this thing. The HM is doing great and other department like FCBM (faculty of commerce and business management) is doing amazing great (I am seeing this from past 4 years). According to me, these activities are very important and give a good exposure and hands-on practice on real world problems. Co-curricular activities -: There are different activities in the university in which students can enjoy their college life and show their talent as well. The freshers party, annual fest, sports activity, you can enjoy all these activities in the college. I truly adore these things and love them a lot. Placement -: Here, comes the main thing. There are different departments in the college like education, HM, FTCA, pharmacy, biotech, management etc. The university is famous for its Hotel Management and yes, it is the best. I am from the FTCA department and the placements are degrading year by year. A student takes admission in a college (private) for getting a good job. We spend money, pay fees on time and what do we get in return, a degree, a job in sales and marketing or in an ed-tech company where no Btech, BCA, MCA student want to go. All the tech students are said to sit with the students of Management department and mostly the company is of sales. The students of technical department are like - they want a job, be it of 4lpa, 5lpa or anything. The students currently studying over there have lost hope of placements. Most of them are starting in non-tech companies. Then what is the difference between a government college where the fees is very low and in a private college. I came to this college in 2021 and in 2026, I'll passout with a Masters Degree but what if I do not have a job in hand but I have skills. The placement cell has to improve a lot as the students are worried. Most of the students are studying under education loan which they have to clear after their college but how they will do so. Comparing with other universities in nearby places like Bhimtal where the fees is also the same, they are maintaining their record of placements. "We do not want a job with good packages of lakhs, we just want a good career start in technical company, not in a company who I'd giving sales executive role to a MCA student with good coding and problem solving skills. I request the authority to please make strong actions on this. The review section is full of cries and worries of students who are currently studying over here or have passed from this college. This seems to be bad but it is the reality.

I completed my MBA from Amrapali University, and my experience here was below average. The infrastructure and quality of facilities are extremely poor and disappointing. Many of the teachers are quite hypocritical. The promises made by the university at the time of admission are never fulfilled. I would not recommend this university to any parents or students who are considering taking admission here. It would be better if you look for a more reputable and better university.
