Barak Valley Engineering College, Karimganj, Assam, established in 2017, is a government engineering institution affiliated with Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU), Guwahati. Founded to enhance technical education in the Barak Valley, it aligns with the Government of Assam''s vision for regional development, nurturing future engineers.

BVEC offers four B.E. programs: Civil, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical, and Mechanical Engineering. These programs feature a robust curriculum blending theoretical knowledge with practical skills for industry readiness. With an annual intake of 240 students and 21 faculty, the college provides a focused learning environment, preparing students for contemporary industrial demands.
