A well-known engineering college named after the renowned physicist Meghnad Shaha & inaugurated on 1901. This college belongs to Techno India Group, affiliated by Moulana Abul kalam Azad University ( MAkAU) & accredited by AICTE. All most all leading BTech courses are taught here with experienced faculties. The college building is spacious & airy. The class rooms, campus are clean & well maintained. The seminar hall is well prepared for small events and seminars. It is near Ruby genaral hospital & beside urbana housing, Anandapur. There is an auto stand near Rubi Junction that is directed towards the college. The transportation is a little bit problematic as there is crowd & long que in the auto stand during office time. but otherwise it is a very old technical college having a rich heritage & moderate job placement facilities. The industry related workshops are arranged here to guide the tech students for job ready.

Good ambience. But situated at an awkward area. Don't take any app-cab like ola, uber or yellow taxi from E. M. Bypass. It will cost you more at office time (around ₹80 - ₹120/reserve). Rather go to MSIT Rubi more auto stand (cost - ₹10 ) or take 3C/1 (₹7 appx) or any auto (Heritage autos are more frequent) to Anandapur bridge and from there take another auto(₹8-10 appx) to MSIT. It is both time saving and energy saving.
