One of the best colleges in Shimoga for BSc, teaching is nice and teachers are very helpful (we as students should seek help too), decently large library with lot of weekly and monthly magazines, daily newspapers, journals aswell as all the required books related to subject. The location in itself is great too, nearby to most of the transport related spots like bus stops, a park infront and central library very close by. Has a relaxing garden like place at the back side of the building

Highly reputed College at Shimoga District from 1966. Almost all the Colleges at Shimoga, Chikmagalur and at Sirsi have their professors and Principals - who were the students at DVS earlier.
