Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, commonly known as Gokhale Institute, is one of the oldest research and training institutes in Economics in India. I went there for a musical event organised by an external organisation early morning. The morning sunlight, beautiful vocals made the campus come to life. The buildings are solid stone, of a bygone era of Pune. They are conserved, and so are the ancient trees. Some buildings are retro fitted for the new age, but the campus looks timeless. Great place for film shoots which are history related.
