I'm thrilled to share my amazing experience at Greater Kolkata College of Engineering and Management, where I completed my B.Tech in Civil Engineering. The three years I spent here were truly transformative, shaping me into a confident and capable engineer. The faculty was exceptional, with professors who were not only knowledgeable but also approachable and supportive. They encouraged us to explore our interests and provided valuable guidance throughout our academic journey. The college infrastructure was top-notch, with well-equipped labs and libraries that facilitated hands-on learning. The campus was vibrant, with numerous extracurricular activities and events that fostered a sense of community and camaraderie. I'm grateful for the opportunities I had to work internships( "In Kolkata Metro Blue line, at esplanade" and "Industrial Training on Different Activities on Building Construction"), and research initiatives ("Fluid and Ion Transport in Cement- Based Materials: A Systematic Review" , "Utilisation of Waste Plastic in the Fabrication of Sustainable Bricks: A Comparative Study on Strength and Feasibility" etc.), which helped me develop practical skills and industry insights. The alumni network is strong, and I've been able to connect with successful professionals in my field. Overall, I'm proud to be a part of the Greater Kolkata College of Engineering and Management ( GKCEM) family, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to pursue a degree in Civil Engineering. The memories and lessons I've gained will stay with me forever.

The college offers a solid foundation in engineering, with a strong emphasis on core subjects and practical application. The learning environment is generally supportive, and the faculty is knowledgeable. However, there are some areas that could be improved to enhance the student experience further. This engineering college is a good choice for students seeking a strong academic foundation and good career prospects. While it has some areas for improvement, its strengths in academics, faculty, and infrastructure make it a worthwhile option for aspiring engineers.
