Jain University Kochi Scholarships and Financial Aid

Jain University Kochi demonstrates a strong commitment to supporting its student community through a comprehensive range of scholarships and fee waiver programs. These initiatives cater to both merit and need, ensuring that talented students can access quality education regardless of their financial circumstances. The university offers its own scholarships for academic and sports excellence, as well as specific categories like defence personnel wards, alumni, and employees. Additionally, Jain University Kochi facilitates numerous government and external scholarships for Indian nationals and international students, covering various levels of study from undergraduate to Ph.D.

Jain University Kochi Tuition Fee Waiver	For meritorious and deserving students; also for students with special skill sets (Artist, differently abled category, culturally oriented) or financial hardship; considered on a case-by-case basis for each program; requires satisfactory academic performance (no backlogs) and model code of conduct for renewal. Only one scholarship awarded per student per academic year.	Full/partial tuition fee waiver	Submit duly filled scholarship application form at the JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) Admissions Office before the specified deadline. Applications are then categorized, scrutinized, and presented to the Scholarship Selection Committee.
Dr. Homi J. Bhabha Scholarship Scheme (HJBSS)	For Nepalese candidates, applying for Master of Engineering (ME) course.	Financial assistance for admission to Master of Engineering (ME) course.	Application announced tentatively in December/January every year by Embassy of India in Nepal through EDCIL.
General Scholarship Scheme (GSS)	For students from Nepal, applying for BBA, BCA, BA, BA (Hons), B.Sc., B.Com, BA (Music/Performing Arts) undergraduate courses.	Financial assistance for admission to specified undergraduate courses.	Application announced tentatively in December/January every year by Embassy of India in Nepal through EDCIL.
Compex Nepal Scholarship	For students from Nepal, applying for Engineering (BE) undergraduate or B.Sc. (Nursing) undergraduate courses.	Admission with scholarships	Application announced tentatively in April/May (yearly) by Embassy of India in Nepal through EDCIL.
Study in India Scholarship	Meritorious students applying for UG, PG, Ph.D & niche segments at 100+ premier institutions (NIRF top 100 and with NAAC score of 3.26 and above) including IITs, NITs, Central and State universities and private institutions. Jain University is empaneled.	Tuition fee waivers of 100%, 50%, 25% (up to USD 3500 each for 2000 scholarships). Duration: 5 years for undergraduate integrated, 3 or 4 years for undergraduate, 2 years or till completion for postgraduate. Syria 1000 Scholarship	Syrian students.	Sponsored fees, accommodation, food, flight tickets etc.	Administered by Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) through EDCIL.
Promote Women’s Scholarship program (Asia Foundation)	147 Afghan women pursuing master’s degrees in India.	Financial assistance for master's degrees.	Administered by Asia Foundation through EDCIL.
Scholarship Programme for Diaspora Children (SPDC)	Children of NRIs, PIOs/OCIs. Specifically, children of Indians residing in Nepal (both parents registered in Indian Mission/Post in Nepal for a minimum period of four years; the applicant has done at least four years of schooling including two years of classes XI & XII in Nepal just prior to applying). Age: 17 to 21 years as on 31st July 2021. Academic: Minimum of 60% aggregate marks or equivalent grades in aggregate of all the subjects in the qualifying examination. Must have secured admission in a designated undergraduate course in one of the designated Institutions in India. Only fresh year (First year) students. Parent Income: Total monthly income of the parent(s) of the candidate / applicant should not exceed an amount equivalent to US Dollars Five Thousand (US $ 5000). Cannot avail scholarship / financial assistance / any other assistance under any other Scheme sponsored and / or funded by State Government / Central Government of India.	Towards tuition fee, admission fee, hostel fee & other Institutional charges.	Administered by EDCIL.
Jain University Kochi Scholarships to Foreign Students (Facilitated)	For eligible international students; those enrolled with bilateral treaty and/or financial support from home country must maintain good academic progress with no backlogs; meritorious international students from underdeveloped and developing countries.	Partial tuition fee waiver for meritorious international students from underdeveloped and developing countries.	-
