Bhagalpur Govt Medical College a.k.a Jawaharlal Neheru Medical College is one of the prominent medical colleges in the state of Bihar. It is established in 1970. It is well known as Maya ganja Hospital. It has two campus, one is academic campus with heritage buildings and sculptures, another is the main hospital which is 3km away from it. The college is maintained, though needs renovation at present due to many damage walls with leakages. It caters thousands of population of Bihar. This is State Govt. oldest hospital established in 1950's...Building is old and needs to be renovated .Situated on the bank's of River Ganga.has a huge patients foot fall of around 3000-4000 per day.All the departments are working efficiently and regularly like OPD and Surgery, Gyanic and Ortho. Medical college is also part of this hospital and has huge no. of students perusing their medical studies.Hoatel is their but it is not centrally located or u can say they don't have one campus.
