JSCOE Pune Admission Process & Eligibility 2026

A candidate seeking admission into JSCOE must have scored a minimum og 45% (general) or 40% (SC/ST/OBC) in relevant subjects in class 12th. JSCOE Pune 2026 accepts JEE Main, MHT CET, and MAH BCA CET scores for undergraduate admissions.  This is followed by the Centralised Admission Process where seats are allotted based on entrance scores. For PG courses, exams like GATE, MAH MBA CET, or MAH MCA CET are accepted. For MBA admissions, JSCOE accepts CMAT, XAT, MAT, GATE, CAT scores as well. How to Apply to JSCOE Pune 2026: Steps & Deadlines

Applications for Jayawantrao Sawant College of Engineering Pune 2026 open on 14 Dec 2025.

Applicants must complete online registration and submit required documents between 14 Dec 2025 and 14 Jul 2026. This seven-month window gives candidates time to prepare materials and finalize course choices.

Counseling activities, including document verification and merit list discussions, run from Tentative Jun 28, 2026 to Tentative Aug 08, 2026. Admitted students must confirm enrollment by reporting to JSCOE during this window.

1. Register online on DTE website:  Fill the online CAP application form on the official DTE Maharashtra website. Use your MHT-CET login if you have that score, or create login credentials if you have a JEE Main score.

2. Get documents verified in person: Visit a Facilitation Centre and complete document verification.

3. Wait for provisional merit list: DTE publishes the provisional merit list based on entrance scores. 

4. Enter your preferences: List your preferred courses and colleges in decreasing order of preference. Confirm the form before the deadline. This form is used for Round I allotment.

5. Check allotment: DTE displays your allotted institute and course in provisional allotment for Round I. 

6. Accept the seat and choose one option - You can Freeze (accept and stop further rounds), Slide (accept but try for a better branch in the same college), or Float (accept but try for any better college or branch). If you get your first choice of preferences, only Freeze is possible. Slide and Float are not available after Round III.

7. Report and confirm admission: Go to the allotted college, pay the seat acceptance fee, and complete admission formalities.

8. Participate in Round II and III if needed: You can join these rounds if you have no seat yet, cancelled earlier, or want to improve your choice. You may edit your option form and change Freeze/Slide/Float at the Admission Reporting Centre. Seats for these rounds are published on the website.

9. Final allotment: Accept final allotment after the last CAP round, report to the finally allotted college and confirm your admission.

For the graduating Class of 2023, 407 students were placed from JSCOE. The vast majority of these offers were in the software development sector, which accounted for 82% of all placed students. This was followed by 6% each for positions in data analytics and marketing, with core industry and product-based roles making up the remaining placements. Average annual packages ranged from 3.0 LPA to 12.5 LPA.

For the following graduating class, in 2024, JSCOE Pune further increased its placement numbers. A remarkable 250+ placement offers were received. More and more companies, like TCS, Hexaware, Tech Mahindra, and Rupeek, were recruiting graduates. Top offers with packages as high as 26.40 LACS were also given to many students.
