I had an excellent experience at Kalasalingam Academy of Research and Education (KARE). The university is a private deemed-to-be university located in Krishnankoil near Rajapalayam in Tamil Nadu, India. The campus is close to the ancient temple town of Srivilliputhur and has a serene and green environment. The university offers UG, PG and Ph.D. programmes in various disciplines of Engineering, Science, Technology and Humanities[^2^][4]. It is the first Institution in India to introduce a special B. Tech programme in engineering for the differently able (speech and hearing impaired) students. The faculty and staff are very qualified, experienced and dedicated. They provide research-based higher education with a focus on innovation and social relevance. The curriculum is updated and aligned with the industry's needs and global standards. The students are also very talented and motivated, with a lot of opportunities for placements, internships, projects, and extracurricular activities. The university has academic collaboration with many leading foreign universities and has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with them[^2^][4]. The university has also been re-accredited by NAAC with an ‘A’ grade with a CGPA of 3.11 in 2015. I would highly recommend this university to anyone who wants to pursue a quality education in a multicultural and vibrant atmosphere. It is one of the best private universities in India.
