Student Reviews & Testimonials
I am Aswinsundhar, a 3rd year Computer Science Engineering student at KCG College of Technology. My experience so far has been very positive, both academically and professionally. KCG provides a well-balanced academic environment and actively encourages students to work on real-world projects, take part in hackathons, and participate in various technical competitions. This hands-on exposure has helped me enhance my technical skills and problem-solving abilities. The Computer Science department is particularly strong. The faculty members are supportive, knowledgeable, and always available to guide students in projects and career planning. The department also promotes a strong coding and innovation culture, which has played a key role in shaping my technical journey. Placements are good. I was fortunate to get placed in a product-based company with a higher package during my 3rd year itself. Overall, KCG is a great platform for students looking to grow both academically and professionally.
I'm Kamakshi, a pre-final year student at KCG College of Technology, studying Electronics and Communication Engineering. Being an enthusiastic and curious learner, I’ve been lucky to be part of a college that truly supports and encourages students like me. KCG has given me so many opportunities—not just in academics, but also beyond the classroom. From participating in NCC and sports to taking part in various competitions and hackathons, I’ve always felt backed by the management and faculty. With their constant support, I’ve been able to achieve success in multiple hackathons and NCC activities. As a proud member of the KCG NCC Company, I’ve also had the privilege of contributing to our cadets winning overall trophies in prestigious inter-college fests like CADO GURU, CADO BHIM, and THEAGA FEST. These achievements wouldn’t have been possible without the encouragement and guidance we consistently receive from our institution. One thing I truly appreciate is the way my department has supported me throughout this journey. Whether it was providing On Duty permissions for every event I participated in—even during exam periods—or going the extra mile by organizing re-exams for missed internal assessments, their support has been unwavering. In fact, due to my participation in an NCC camp, I had to withdraw a semester exam paper. The department kindly allowed me to write that paper in the following semester, officially considering it as a withdrawal rather than an arrear. This level of flexibility and understanding has made it possible for me to give my best in every opportunity I’ve taken up.
If you're passionate about technology and looking for strong exposure in both academics and industry trends, KCG College of Technology is a great choice. The Computer Science Department offers excellent mentorship for projects and startups. The PDC, Incubation Cell, and other departments are active and supportive. There's also a good balance between academics and extracurriculars, with solid encouragement for sports. Highly recommended for students inclined towards innovation, learning, and overall development.
My experience with the Mechanical Engineering Department at KCG College of Technology has been both enriching and transformative. The department boasts experienced faculty who are not only knowledgeable but also approachable and supportive. The curriculum is well-structured, balancing theoretical knowledge with practical application. The labs are fairly well-equipped, providing hands-on exposure to various mechanical systems, which greatly enhanced my understanding. Additionally, the department encourages participation in technical events, workshops, and paper presentations, which helped me build confidence and skills beyond the classroom. Placement support and internship opportunities are decent, especially for students who are proactive. While there's always room for improvement in industry collaborations and modern software tools integration, the overall academic environment is commendable. I’m grateful for the education and support I received, and I believe the department continues to grow and adapt to industry needs.
