Kumarasamy College of Engineering is an Autonomous Institution, Approved by AICTE, New Delhi and Affiliated to Anna University, Chennai it was established in the year 2000 by M. Kumarasamy Health and Educational Trust with a vision to provide technical education for all the sectors of the society. The Library started its service in 2000 as a part of MKCE. The fully computerized Library Information Systems helps the staff and students tremendously in day-to-day operations. The Library uses LIPS-i-NET software system with barcode scanning facility. Every document in the Library bears a barcode tag that is used for its circulation. M. Kumarasamy College of Engineering (MKCE) is located in Thalavapalayam on the way to Karur and Salem. The college was founded by M. Kumarasamy, the correspondent and also the management trustee of M. Kumarasamy Health & Education Trust in the year of 2001. The college is affiliated to the Anna University, Chennai and also approved by the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi. Mr. Raja Subramanian is the college's general manager.
Infrastructure is not that great and very less practical exposure. Good thing about this college is more stress is given towards placement and growth of the students. I feel it should retain good and experience staffs which is rare here.
Horrible Experience staying at their guest house. š * Good place. * Good and Clean rooms * Almost 3 star standards. * Ashok and the lady manning that area were very helpful. š * Food served for the price is sub par. * Semiya Upma served on the second day caused severe food poisoning for multiple people. * Kannan - Manager Admin - was not even aware of this incident and was rude when informed about this. * There was zero empathy and acceptance of responsibility for this incident. * Very Very expensive - Rs. 2,700/- + 18% GST per night
