Pillai College of Engineering Scholarships and Financial Aid

Pillai College of Engineering facilitates access to various financial aid programs, primarily through Maharashtra Government scholarships. These programs aim to support students from diverse backgrounds, including reserved categories, economically weaker sections, and persons with disabilities, by offering financial concessions. Students are required to register for these state government scholarships and upload necessary scanned documents to the college for application processing.

Maharashtra Government Scholarships for Reserved Category Students & EBC	This scholarship encompasses various categories: - Reserved Category Students (including OBC, SBC, NT, SEBC): Must belong to Backward Class categories (OBC, SBC, NT, SEBC) of Maharashtra State. For OBC, SBC, NT, and SEBC categories, a valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate (valid up to March 2026) is required. - Economically Backward Class (EBC) Students: Total family income for the previous financial year should not exceed ₹8,00,000. A valid Income Certificate (valid up to March 2026) must be submitted. Students must belong to families with no more than two children, as recorded on the Ration Card. - Persons with Disability (PwD) Candidates: Must belong to the Persons with Disability category of Maharashtra State. - General Ineligibility: Students who, prior to admission to Pillai College of Engineering (i.e., before the academic year 2025–2026), had taken admission in any degree or diploma course and discontinued it midway, are considered ineligible for the scholarship.	Implied financial aid or fee concession.	Registration for the Maharashtra Government scholarships is required. All students are required to keep a scanned copy of their documents before submitting to the college, as these scanned documents are required to be uploaded for scholarship applications. For EBC students, a valid Income Certificate and Ration Card are needed. For OBC, SBC, NT, and SEBC students, a valid Non-Creamy Layer Certificate is required.
