This is the one medical college in Gangtok run by Manipal University . As Manipal has higher standard of education , they have maintained the institution like their own child. World class infrastructure - very spacious classroom laboratory , auditorium , 2) faculties are also great. The Dean is a retired AFMC Professor

It is one of the Best Medical College in India. Ranked 1st in NE India and 15 th in India according to Outlook ICARE ranking2021. Best campus, situated in picturesque hill of Sikkim. All the faculties are very experienced, infrastructure is good. Hostel serves nice hygienic foods. For the students, they would have life time memorable experience studying here. Above all the values of Manipal is ingrained within the institute, teachers and Students.

Worst hospital everrrrrr! It does not qualify to be called a hospital, if you are sick and hoping to get alright DO NOT GO HERE they will make you more sick. I took my mom to this hospital for kidney stone she was walking and was absolutely fine when we walk to the hospital but within two days she was not able to speak or move they did not allow her any food or liquid and after 2days when we constantly ask several doctors and hospital authority they told us that they do not have in house urologist. And they can refer us to a different hospital. I mean what the hell does that even mean???? Why did they even admit a patient who has a kidney stone when they don't have a urologist. When we ask them this question they were like the general surgeon also can do the surgery and remove the stone. I was shocked to hear this. I took my mom to Siliguri and got a proper treatment surgery was not even required in her case. Im giving one star because I could not give no star.
