Student Reviews & Testimonials
Excellent college with great college life. If you can ignore the attendance issues 😂 the college is pure heaven. The professors are excellent with great knowledge
Aurobindo College of Commerce and Management (SACCM) was set up in the year 2004 as one of the foremost centers of specialized learning in the industrial town of Ludhiana. SACCM bears the name of Sri Aurobindo, a modern seer and vedic scholar, and as such the institution’s traditions are heavily borrowed from his philosophy on integral education. Accordingly, the college has crafted an integral process of education, whereby the thrust is not placed on creating a highly informed individual crammed with information rather an individual consummate in character, personality and values. The College was set up by a trust named ‘Sri Aurobindo Socio Economic and Management Research Institute’. The Managing Trustee of this trust is Padma Bhushan Awardee Mr. S P Oswal, who is also Chairman of one the leading textile conglomerates in India, The Vardhman Group. SACCM is an exclusive commerce and management college which aims to contribute to the movement of nurturing the youth as leaders of tomorrow and for strengthening the country’s economic and industrial progress. The College is affiliated with Panjab University, Chandigarh and offers co-educational undergraduate programmes like B.Com, B.Com (Hons.) Accounting and Finance , B.Com (Hons.) Management Studies and BBA. SACCM offers its students the very best in terms of infrastructure and resources. SACCM is located at the Ferozepur Road, Ludhiana. Spread over 12 acres of land, the Campus has a built up area of 82,000 sq ft, has lush green lawns, state-of-the-art teaching and administrative blocks, sports grounds and indoor sports complex. The lecture halls are well equipped with audio-visual teaching aids that aid in accelerating the effectiveness of teaching- learning processes.
