Technical Education & Research Institute was established as an appendage of Post-Graduate College, Ghazipur which has an illustrious history of nearly five decades. The college has been offering a wide range of disciplines art, science, education, agricultural science, music, enviromental sciences, physical education, etc. at both graduate and post-graduate levels. It is situated near Lord cornwallis tomb and Post graduation college Ghazipur.

The Business Department of this college is extremely unprofessional and offers no real academic or career value. There are no proper classes, no extracurricular activities, and absolutely zero placement opportunities. Even the degree from here holds no practical worth because results are delayed for years — sometimes up to three years. The Head of Department is highly unprofessional, uses abusive language, and shows no respect for students. If anyone dares to complain, they resort to character assassination instead of solving the problem. Overall, the Business Department here is a complete disappointment and not recommended for anyone seeking genuine education or career growth.
