I’m currently doing my English (Hons) at NCU and honestly, it’s been pretty great so far. The faculty is really good, super helpful and they actually make the subjects interesting. The campus could have more chill spots to hang out, and yeah, attendance rules are a bit strict, but that’s kind of the case everywhere. The overall vibe is still nice. We get to do a lot outside of just classes, like field trips to museums and book fairs. Club Fiesta and other fests are a lot of fun too. Also, our literary club Cascade is super active, we’ve had poetry slams, author meetups, debates, and guest lectures. So yeah, if you’re into reading, writing, or anything lit, NCU’s a pretty cool place to be.
