"My college days were probably the best days of my life. I belonged to Trichy Engineering college located in rural and had a group of six members: Kamesh, Vinu, Ragupathi, sarathy, and arun. Known to be one of the thickest groups of our batch, our teachers knew each of us by our names and surnames as we participated in all the possible extra-curricular activities that were thrown our way. Even though the boys of our group weren't so bright academically, the girls would always score good grades. Every single moment spent in that college is something I will cherish for the rest of my life. And, the fact that I found myself friends for life during my college phase is something I am grateful for and value".

I'm currently studying at Trichy Engineering College, and my overall experience so far has been pretty decent. The college has a good campus with decent infrastructure, though some areas could use better maintenance. The classrooms and labs are equipped with the essentials, and most departments have helpful faculty who are approachable and supportive if you're serious about learning. The hostel is okay—rooms are manageable and there's enough space, but the food could definitely be improved. Wi-Fi is available but not always reliable. The college organizes technical events, symposiums, and cultural programs that give students good exposure outside academics. When it comes to placements, things are slowly improving. You need to put in effort on your own, but the placement cell is helpful and brings in some decent companies. Overall, if you're focused and make use of the available resources, TEC can be a good place to build your future. It's not perfect, but it has its positives. In one word, Expecting a massive college life is a myth.
