Student Reviews & Testimonials
A very Peaceful & Pleasant Atmosphere for having Walk🚶🏻♂️in 🌅Morning & Evening 🌆!!
I was here for my PG in GPB. It was my First experience studying in another state. And it was the most beautiful experience. The campus has cult classic vibes. The campus is so big and green that you will love it each single day u will spend here. In Monsoon, campus will be like heaven. People are very supportive here. It is the best University in Central India for agriculture.
🎓 Academic Excellence & Accreditation Top Rank & ‘A’ Grade ICAR Accreditation: In June 2025, the university earned a prestigious 'A Grade' accreditation from ICAR’s National Agricultural Education Accreditation Board, scoring 3.21/4.00—the highest among Maharashtra’s agricultural universities. It marks significant strides in education, research, extension work, and infrastructure. Modernisation & Innovation: Following NEP 2020, VNMKV revamped curricula, enhanced student facilities, and introduced leading initiatives—like establishing a Farm Mechanisation Centre and a Common Incubation Centre for sugarcane products. It even leads in agricultural drone technology, offering specialized training, rental services, and SOP development. 🏛 Infrastructure & Campus Life Expansive Campus: Sprawling over multiple sites across Parbhani, Latur, among other centers, the campus is lush and spacious—providing ample research fields and serene green spaces that are favored for morning walks. Classrooms & Labs: Large and well-maintained, though some students note the need for modernization and more advanced audio-visual equipment. Hostel & Amenities: On-campus hostels (separate for boys and girls) are affordable and convenient, with basic sports and recreational facilities complimented by a gym, basketball, badminton courts, and more . 🍽 Food & Student Experience Cafeteria Offers: Generally decent cafeteria food—rated “average to good” by students. Campus Governance: Student reviewers rate campus life positively (around 4.1/5 on Careers360), praising the community spirit and extracurricular opportunities. 📚 Research & Faculty Regional Research Hub: Serving the Marathwada region, the university undertakes region‑specific crop research—enhancing seed quality and local varieties like Gaorani cotton. Faculty & Mentorship: Mixed feedback—some praise experienced teaching, others point to variation in teaching quality, particularly in tech adoption and practical training. 💼 Placements & Career Prospects Solid Placement Cell: Focused on agriculture, food tech, biotech, and government sectors. Top recruiters include Tata Chemicals, Reliance, PepsiCo, Nestlé, Coca-Cola, and others . Salary Packages: Highest CTC ranges between ₹4-24 LPA; average CTC around ₹8 LPA. More lucrative for PG engineering grads (₹4.91 LPA as peak) . Career Suitability: Ideal for students interested in agriculture research, agribusiness, drones or government agricultural roles. Less suitable for those targeting high-paying corporate positions.
Good university considering the space.... Situated almost 2.5 kms from parbhani junction railway station... The campus is huge and greeny... The place however lacks good basic shops and we have to travel almost a kilometer for having food or meals.. As these many students are studyng for agriculture and horticulture they should have added more shops for food, stationary and other basic things.. The college needs some maintanance as it is an old university... The behaviour of the staff is very nice and its a plus point... The hospitality they provide for other state people and students is also notable...
