Best school for girls
MY REVIEW from 3 Years Ago.. : One of the popular undergrad colleges in Assam. One of the few and best women's colleges in Assam. A college among a selective others responsible for making the district of Jorhat the "most knowledgeable place in Assam" or a education hotspot in the state of Assam and the entire north-east India. Students of various backgrounds and regions, cultures, languages find a common home here to hone their skills and knowledge efficiently during the time period of their course. There are different programmes and activities organised by the various departments from time to time. There is the presence of NCC; students can enroll as cadets. There is a student body and different activity clubs. Student leaders (all seniors) maintain the activeness and youth energy in the campus. A yearly students magazine, DCBian is also published. There is a 3-storey library here. Various prominent local and national newspapers, in English and Assamese, are available for students' up-to-date information. Also, different student magazines, career magazines, exams magazines, readers' digests are stacked well. In the 3 stack rooms, one on every floor, huge numbers of books on a wide variety of subjects and genres, in both English and Assamese are available. Reading rooms are availed by the students to read. Books can be borrowed using a library card issued to every student by the college. The teaching faculty is good. All basic facilities are available for the students: food canteen, cafe, internet cafe, common room, outdoor seating.. indian chat-chana cart vendors are also allowed near the gates to sell their items.
A very beautiful place for the students🌳. The most faculty member are Phd scholar. Professors are very friendly unless you really want to study things. It has both arts and science stream. Laboratory are well maintained. Excursion trip are also held annually. Students can avail scholarship . Fees is also convenient . Ncc is also available. And many sport's activities. ✨
It's is the first women college of Upper Assam and second of Assam . It caters to Jorhat as well as Nearby places and has been consistently upgrading the standard Of teaching . It also have in house hostel facility for Girls .Well maintained and disciplined environment supported by distinguished Faculty . It's situated in heart of city within a quite environment and walkable Distance from City centre Baruah Charali We need to thank The Baruah's for establishing and supporting at the very beginning as well as till this date .
