I studied B A (History, Economics, English Literature) here during 2001-2004. I was advised by Dr M B Padma, then principal not to take English Literature as major, instead would study Kannada major so that I could achieve great. The reason she had pointed out that I had studied in Kannada medium. She also said that you are eligible to get English according to the ranking list (17th Rank). Then I didn't know much about the career and courses difficulty. Now I feel that I would have studied Kannada Literature and would have achieved better career success. Currently, Iam lecturer in Teacher Training Institute in Bengaluru. Fortunate to have had such a greater care and concern she took. We were blessed to have eminent professors, HoDs and Principal. To name a few Prof C Naganna, P N Sridevi, Latha K Biddappa, Anitha V Braggs, Bhagavan, R Keshav, B Ramachandrappa, Cha Sarvamangala and so on. The kind of alround development we could experience was so great. I was also did NCC. I had a rural background and my parents were poor. I had to work part-time from 3:30pm to 12 midnight every day for my books and fees, meals.
