The Mahatma Phule Krishi Vidyapeeth, Rahuri is a university established on March 29, 1968. It became operational in October 1969. Thirty-three kilometers to the south is Ahmednagar city and fifty kilometers to the north is Shirdi. Newasa, land of saint Dnyaneshwar is 33 km from Rahuri. I am sharing a 5 star as this place is so close to nature. The whole ambience of this university is just incomparable. We had stayed there 2 times in the VIP guest house. Since my father in law was HOD in agriculture university of Orissa. We had paid a visit to Shirdi from there and I liked every bit of this place.
