MBSCET Jammu is one of the best college in jammu and kashmir for b.tech, it provide B.E degree and approved by AICTE and affiliated by jammu university and recognised by jammu and kashmir govt.,there are 315 intake capacity in 5 different streams which are (EE,CSE,IT,E&C and MECHANICAL) and there are two schemes to get admission in this college,150 seats are reserved for sikh students and the entry of the sikh students is minority quota exam which is conducted by the college authority and other 150 students come through JKCET (the common entrance test of the state which conducted by the BOPEE for engineering ).There are also 5 % tution fee waiver seats nearly 1seat in each branch and some seats for NRI and management quota.It is a good college in the state and the quality of education is also v.good and it has one of the best infrastructure in the state colleges and the faculty members also behaves friendly and there is a large greenery in the college which makes it attractive.

An institute which is really an inspiration ,can't say after 2006 how it feels and how academics and technical department is serving but yes from 2001 to 2006 obviously an exceptional institute it used to be . My shear ratings on that basis but yet memories are intact with this college which makes me to stand in my foots . Rest I am also hopeful that it will be surely excelling day by day ...
