This is the only college in Birati area. Some years ago , the students of this college was not so good in studies. But now the situation is evolving for the good faculties and other improved infrastructure. They are now scoring well. The college is under West Bengal State University. The school is just beside Uttar Dum Dum Vidyapith.

Before 3 years I was studying this college (3 years course), college auditorium was so good,no ragging, all teachers good, my favorite agomoni mam,Sushma mam(sociology) and laboni mam(history) so good proffecers and responsible.
