Student Reviews & Testimonials
I visited the Rajiv Gandhi medical hospital Kalwa Thane for my sister's disability certificate. At every step i found hospital staff is very cooperative & gave me very proper information . Doctor's are very good . Very nice experience. THANKS
Doctors and other staff are good and co-operative. But management should take care about cleanliness of washrooms used by patients.
The hospital is quite good and working staff is also supportive One bad thing I have noticed is that there is so much rush in the hospital 😁
Though infrastructure is not the best as compared to Mumbai colleges (which are thought to be better just because of the hype), Rajiv Gandhi Medical College is one of the best colleges in the state. Campus is not that huge but big enough for a batch of 80. The OPD's are always crowded, which means there's a good patient exposure here. Students obviously get a good interaction with the teachers which is not the case with colleges having 200+ bulk in a batch. Ultimately it depends upon you, how motivated you are about studies. The cutoff for open category//state quota//ROM region was 589/720 (AIR <10,576//State Rank <699) in NEET UG 2019 which is 8th highest medical college cutoff in the state after GSMC Mumbai, BJMC Pune, GMC Mumbai, GMC Nagpur, LTMC Mumbai, TNMC Mumbai & HBTMC Mumbai. Recently, new PG Courses have also been started & advanced health care facilities have also been introduced in the hospital working.
