Heartfelt piece of emotions in my College Days 1982-1983 Here’s a heartfelt piece reflecting the emotions of being an alumnus of your college: Echoes of Yesterday: A Letter from an Alumnus Right now I am in Hyderabad, on the the verge of retirement, When I think of that days in the year 1982-83 ,once more, a wave of emotions crashes over me—nostalgia, gratitude, and a touch of longing. The familiar walls, the bustling corridors, and the echoes of laughter take me back to a time when life was simpler yet so profound. This place was more than just bricks and mortar; it was where I found myself. Each corner holds a memory—the late-night study sessions, the endless chai breaks, the nervousness before exams, and the thrill of friendships that became family. I remember the lessons learned inside the classrooms, but more so, the ones learned outside. The bonds we formed, the dreams we built together, and the bittersweet goodbyes that marked our journey forward. Today, as an alumnus, I carry the essence of this college within me. It shaped who I am, taught me resilience, and gave me moments I'll cherish forever. My heart swells with pride when I say, "I belong here." To the students who walk these halls now, treasure every moment, for one day, you'll look back and realize that these days were the golden chapters of your life. To my college, thank you for the memories, the lessons, and the love. No matter where life takes me, a part of me will always remain here—at home. Do not know where are all my of friends of that days…. Now it is nothing but a Memory Forever grateful, A Proud Alumnus Amitabha Mukherjee
