Gujarat Cancer and Research Institute (GCRI), Ahmedabad stands as a premier autonomous institution for cancer care, research, and education, established in 1972. A joint venture of the Government of Gujarat and the Gujarat Cancer Society, GCRI is a leading State Cancer Institute affiliated with Gujarat University and B J Medical College, training professionals in oncology and allied fields. GCRI offers a comprehensive suite of postgraduate and doctoral programs including MD, DM, M.Ch, and M.Sc with specializations in surgical oncology, medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, and more, integrating theoretical knowledge with clinical practice. Recognized as a Regional Cancer Centre by the Government of India, GCRI's NABL accredited laboratories ensure quality diagnostics. The institute features modern infrastructure and a total bed capacity of 1000, providing extensive patient care.
