What is TS EAMCET?
TS EAMCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test), also known as TS EAPCET, is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). It is for admission to undergraduate programs in Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.), Agriculture (B.Sc Agri/Forestry), Pharmacy (B.Pharm), and related courses in over 234 colleges in Telangana, including top institutes like JNTUH, Osmania University, and PVNRTVU.
Over 2 lakh candidates appear annually, with separate streams for Engineering (MPC/PCM) and Agriculture & Medical (BiPC/PCB). It follows the 10+2 curriculum with 80% weightage to Class 12 and 20% to Class 11. Scores are used for 70% state quota seats, with 30% via JEE Main for Engineering.

Nationality: Indian citizens, OCIs, PIOs eligible
Domicile: Must be domiciled in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh
For Engineering (MPC):
Passed/appearing in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as optional subjects
Minimum 45% aggregate in group subjects (40% for SC/ST)
Diploma holders in Engineering are eligible
For Agriculture & Pharmacy (BiPC):
Passed/appearing in Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology as optional
Minimum 45% aggregate in group subjects (40% for SC/ST)
Age Limit: Minimum 16 years by December 31, 2026 (17 years for B.Tech Dairy Tech/Agriculture Engg/Food Tech)
