Birbhum Mahavidyalaya College is newer than Vidyasagar College. Here many fecilities are not there but it helps to accommodate the pressure of increasing number of students every year.

Nicely located college is situated in a calm quite ambience and at the end of the Suri town, communication is not so good. Infrastructure and buildings are good with vast campus, the college started its journey about 37 years ago and at present imparting knowledge and education to the students of Bachelor degree Arts with Hons and science (pass) courses and all the courses are affiliated to the Burdwan University. The college campus is accessible to all sorts of vehicles through the main gate.
