The leading college of Suri. There are many reasons of its being the pioneer of all colleges in Birbhum. Teachers are also very friendly, special attention is payed to the cleanliness of the campus. Seniors are also very friendly towards their junior student. Streams available here are, Arts , Science and Commerce. This college also has a library facility. And last but not the least, this college is Alma mater of Late Shi Pranab Mukherjee, former president of India.

Campus life is good. There is a big and centrally air conditioned library, also we have a big sports ground, canteen is not so good, there is a cool place to sit and chill in the college with your batchmates( near the office area), we also have an incubator cell, sports room, volleyball court, drama society room, various clubs room and a seminar hall. Classes are like government schools, not the smart classes you are thinking of. Campus is not so big but decent enough. The crowd is okay, not as per my expectations, there is a mix of people from different parts of West Bengal, mostly from Birbhum and Burdwan but I have other friends also who belong to other parts of the country as well.

On the special occasion of Saraswati Puja, mee nd my friends decided to explore different places to see the celebrations. Though we are not students of this college, we visited to experience the festive vibe and it was totally worth it! As soon as we entered, we saw people everywhere, chilling, laughing, and enjoying the day. The atmosphere was lively, full of energy and excitement. The puja pandal was beautifully crafted, classic movie themes, artistic posters, and detailed decorations. Walking around, we noticed the huge campus—multiple buildings, science departments, a big ground, and tall trees adding to the charm. It was fascinating to see such a vast and vibrant college. Though we were just visitors, for a moment, we felt like we were part of the celebration. It was a wonderful experience, filled with good vibes, creativity, and festive joy. A day to remember!
