Netaji Subhas Mahavidyalaya is the only college in the Haldibari block, making it an essential institution for local students. The college offers various arts stream subjects such as Bengali, English, History, Political Science, Geography, and Sanskrit. However, currently, there are no available options for Science and Commerce streams. Some new buildings have been constructed, improving the overall infrastructure of the college. The college was previously affiliated with North Bengal University but is now under Panchanan Barma University. The learning environment is peaceful, with dedicated faculty members and an active student community. The campus provides a good balance between academics and extracurricular activities, creating a vibrant atmosphere for growth and development. Overall, Netaji Subhas Mahavidyalaya plays a vital role in higher education in Haldibari, though there is still scope for expanding academic streams and further infrastructure development.

But science and commerce have no scheme ...... Some building are constructed newly....... Nowadays this college is under Panchanan Barma University.... It is a good college .About 2500 students are there.There are good number of faculties in this college and there are different honours subjects , available in this college. A separate wing under the name of counselling as well as for social activities at the college and at different nearby areas national service scheme is available in this college and recently disaster management , basic first aid as well as snake awareness orientation camp has been held under the national service scheme department .about 80 number of students participated in this orientation camp.
