SVCE - MISS MY COLLEGE I completed my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering (SVCE), Tirupati in 2017. Looking back, it was a solid YEAR'S journey both academically and professionally. The biggest plus for me was securing 4 campus placements by the end of the course, thanks to the support and training provided by the placement cell. Highlights: Placements: Even as a Mechanical student, I had opportunities in both core and IT sectors. The college provides good training in aptitude, soft skills, and technical interviews. Faculty: The Mechanical department had some great professors who genuinely cared about teaching and helping us grow. Labs & Facilities: Workshops and labs were fairly well-equipped. We had decent hands-on exposure, which helped in understanding concepts better. Campus Life: The campus is calm and focused—less distraction, more learning. Cultural fests and events did happen, but they weren’t very frequent or flashy. What could be better: More core companies visiting for Mechanical would’ve been great. Industry interaction and real-time projects were limited during my time. Final Take: If you're serious about academics and placements, SVCE Tirupati is a good choice. It gave me a strong foundation, and the multiple job offers gave me a head start in my career. ---
